If you make a product for clueless people,
only clueless people will like it.
Like Ubuntu.
Everytime I'm using it, it feels like my thumbs were cut off.
Kubuntu is a little bit better, but I'm still missing something like Yast.

So it's getting worse? The last time I touched Ubuntu was a decade ago.

I am one of those clueless people ;-)
Debian for "production", Linux Mint (Ubuntu) for the family. Are there better alternatives around? That was my thought. I keep trying different OSs during the years but keep coming back to Debian. Debian ist damn stable. So I use it for programming and stuff where nothing should break after updates. Linux Mint (Ubuntu) is at the moment for the Ryzen notebooks we bought recently. That's more due to hardware compatibility.

Debian GNU/Linux Unstable since 2010. After a short period of tracking Sidux/Aptosid/Siduction (derivatives of Debian Unstable) I first moved to Debian Testing. A few months later I've dist-upgraded to Unstable and I'm happy since then. Mostly because I ditched fglrx in favor of the open source driver stack.
Fun fact: I never had to reinstall Debian even though I've upgraded my hardware several times. The hardest part was moving the system to a 4TB HDD in a BIOS system (moving it to a NVMe SSD two years later was child's play in comparison).

I'm not asking anybody, just saying it.
I am using Ubuntu for one thing, so I had to install it. When you work with it, it's quite painful. They dumbed it down way too much! So many things missing. Like: a clipboard.
I would use Debian, because stable, but I have this fixation about wanting the latest shiniest toys, so I'm using openSuse Tunbleweed w/ KDE. Sweet! Stable! Kernel 5.10.9.
Very efficient workflow (for me).
BTW: would love to have a Ryzen 5000 laptop! (I cannot put a heart emoji here because I can't see how, for fucks sake. UI again. :-(

Isn't there an addon for this?
